Paris, I love you

Version 2

Paris… One of the most beautiful cities in the world, full of charm, romance and history. This was my first time visiting the city of a dream. I had only two and a half days to see the capital of France. The first half day I have spent to settle down and walking around the neigborhood where my hotel was situated, the second day was for shopping and the third day for sightseeing and luxury hotels reviews.

Version 2

I have stayed at the Hyatt Regency Paris Etoile hotel

This 4 star hotel is a 34 storey building, facing the Eiffel Tower from one side and the city and Montmartre from the other side. My full review of this property and more pictures you can find HERE.

So my third day was fully dedicated to sightseeing

The morning was rainy and I have ordered Uber, which came very fast. I planned to go to Louvre first, but then the Avenue Champs Elysees appeared to be closed for driving due to the weekend, so I went to the Tour Eiffel. My driver has stopped me at the observation area right in front of it.

Version 2
The view was magnificent!
The symbol of France was just at my step
The  height of Eiffel Tower is 324 meters, and it is the tallest building of Paris. There are guided tours inside the tower. To take the lift to the observation deck at the top of the building will cost 17 euros. There are two restaurants inside. One at the first level – “Le 58 Tour Eiffel” and the Michelin starred “Le Jules Verne” on the second level.
Couple of pictures and the journey continues.

Beautiful streets of Paris were fresh from the morning rain

Next stop – Louvre
Palace of 16th century is the biggest museum in the world. It demonstrates historical objects and works of art for the period from ancient times till  1848.
Version 2
The queue to the museum entrance was huge on Sunday. The entrance ticket costs 15 euros.  There is no entrance fee on the first Sunday of month from October to March. The museum is open from 9:00 till 18:00, till 21:45 on Wednesday and Friday  and is closed on Tuesday. There are two entrances – from the underground pyramid, connected to metro station and  the mall Gallerie du Carrousel and from the Passage Richelieu from the Rivoli street side.
Next my visit to Paris I will allocate 2 days only for the Louvre visit, to see all the masterpieces.

Version 2
After Louvre I walked the streets across the river Seine to see the Notre Damme de Paris. It took me approximately 20 minutes.
Version 2
The cathedral of Notre Dame de Paris impressed me the most from all the architecture I have seen in the city
Version 2
Built in 12th century, the cathedral is the most famous example of the French Gothic architecture. It was being constructed during years 1163-1345. The height of the towers is 69m and the length of the cathedral is 130m. The entrance inside the building is 10 euros. You will have look at the beautiful interior of the church and can climb the stairs to the top of the towers, where you will experience the panoramic view to the city.
Version 2
Looking at the exterior of the cathedral, it was very interesting and the same time weird to see from one side a church, dedicated to God and to Saints, but from another side sculptures of evil creatures all around the exterior – gargoyles and chimera.

After this magnificent cathedral I have continued my journey to check the two luxury hotels of Paris.
